Students fundraise for Iceland trip

As part of our Inspire programme, aiming to increase independence and widen aspirations, the Aldridge Foundation are working with the British Exploring Society to part-fund and send five Aldridge students on a once in a lifetime, four-week expedition to Iceland.

On 5th July 2019, a group of students from the Darwen Aldridge Community Academy will travel to Kampala, Uganda to help teach the children of the Acholi tribe, who were displaced from their homeland during the civil war.
