This year we celebrated 15 years of Aldridge philanthropic work and positive impact on thousands of children and young people. We have achieved so much but there is still so much more to do to ensure all young people have an equal chance in life.

In 2020/2021, the Aldridge Foundation team faced the need to be resourceful and flexible. We provided immediate Covid-19 emergency support to the young people and communities we work with, adapted our core programmes to deliver them virtually, and began creating longer term Covid-19 recovery programmes as the lasting impact of the pandemic emerged.

The Foundation has continued to refine and scale its five core programmes and has taken significant steps forward in starting the process to embed some of these programmes into the fabric of our partner academies. This will ensure both that the programmes become fully integrated into the school life and enable the Foundation to create and develop programmes to further support young people as they transfer into life beyond school and start to develop their chosen careers.
